Ramgarh, a town surrounded by sand dunes, was once amongst the richer towns in India. It was a centre of learning and was also known as Doosra Kashi (Second Varanasi). It is now a treasure trove of painted temples, havelis, and cenotaphs. Ramgarh Shekhawati which famous by the chotti kaashi because there were 25 Sanskrit Schools and Aayurved school .Vaidya Shree Ramnarayan ji Sharma (Founder of Shree Vaidyanath aayurved bhavan) done his graduation here, there were also a Jyotish School, the famous astrologer Shree Maniram ji Gangavat born in Ramgarh Shekhawati and completed his study here, he published a panchang which known as Mani Ram ji ka Panchaang. As above told where Poddars built chhatris,havelis here and Ruias made schools and college here. The students not only from Rajasthan but also from Haryana and U P came here for study. The seths gave free accommodation, food, clothes and 3 litre oil/student for study to the all students. There were only schools and colleges in Ramgarh after Jaipur. Some schools are-
